The trailer of the movie looks very promising. Character of Bobby Deol, who speaks in “Shuddha Hindi” is some thing new. Sunny and Shreyas are in their routine avatar. Marathi film was a success. It will be interesting to see if Hindi version lives up to the audience’s expectations.
While Talking to the media Actor-Director Shreyas said, ‘I’m grateful to work with paaji (Sunny Deol) and Bobby. I wanted a guy who is a He-man, the symbol of masculinity. Someone like him finding himself on a poster promoting Nasbandi was amusing and when I narrated the character to paaji, he loved it. Then, I thought casting Bobby would be an out-of-the-box idea because he’s been a style icon and a chocolaty hero. Yes, it’s a casting coup!’ The actor-director admited that the setting is different from the Marathi version because he is catering to a pan-India audience and because of Sunny and Bobby he had to make certain changes, he said claiming that he has not made any major changes in the basic plot of the Marathi version.’There are a few changes in characterisation and we’ve set the film in North India. Film is set to release on 8 September 2017.
